16th & 17th September 2017

Q: How much do tickets cost for the weekend?

Ticket prices will be posted to this page shortly, please keep checking back.

Q: What does my wristband give me access to?

A:  Please see our programme page for a full schedule of sites open each day and entertainments.  A small extra fee will apply for access to the Museum and Palace House galleries, plus Jockey Club Rooms.

Museum and Palace House Galleries entry – £5pp (reduced from £16.50) to be purchased at the National Heritage Centre on the day.

Jockey Club Rooms Tours – £5pp to be purchased at the Jockey Club Rooms on the day.

All other sites and entertainments are free to NOW wristband holders.

Q: Is there disabled access?

A: Trainers yards are not normally open to the public, so would not reasonably be expected to have as good a set of facilities as a venue that is ( e.g. may not have disabled loos).

The Gallops on the Sunday morning would not be suitable for wheelchair access.

The National Horseracing Museum and Tattersalls are both DDA compliant.

We do operate a disabled minibus free of charge, courtesy of the local MS Branch. We would also give a carer a free pass.

Q: Are dogs permitted?

A: Regrettably, no dogs other than Guide Dogs are allowed.

Q:Where are the car parks situated?

A: Parking for the weekend will be:

  • Tattersalls – Enter the Tattersalls premises via The Avenue in Newmarket. (Tattersalls Park Paddocks, The Avenue, Newmarket, CB8 9AU)

  • Severals – Located just off the roundabout at the top of the town, beside the Gallops. A shuttle bus service will be available from here.
  • Tattersalls – Enter the Tattersalls premises via The Avenue in Newmarket. (Tattersalls Park Paddocks, The Avenue, Newmarket, CB8 9AU)

Q: Where are the shuttle buses operating from?

A: Shuttle buses will be running along a number of routes on Sunday only, going approximately every twenty minutes.

Q: Can I bring a camera?

A: You are more than welcome to bring cameras, but please disable the flash where possible as sudden bright lights upset horses.
